Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using ShotKeep (“the app”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

ShotKeep is an iOS application that helps you manage and clean up screenshots on your device. The app:

  • Scans your photo library for screenshots
  • Analyzes screenshot content using on-device OCR and rule-based classification
  • Identifies potentially important screenshots (payment records, orders, verification codes, etc.)
  • Recommends low-risk screenshots for safe deletion
  • All processing happens entirely on your device

Subscription and Payment

Free Version

The free version of ShotKeep includes:

  • Screenshot scanning and analysis
  • Viewing protected and review screenshots
  • Statistics and insights
  • Deletion of up to 20 screenshots per batch

ShotKeep Pro

ShotKeep Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription:

  • Monthly: $1.99/month
  • Yearly: $9.99/year

Pro features include:

  • Unlimited batch deletion
  • All future Pro features

Subscription Terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

User Responsibilities

By using ShotKeep, you agree to:

  • Use the app only for its intended purpose of managing screenshots
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app
  • Not use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Screenshot Deletion

Important Notice

When you delete screenshots through ShotKeep:

  • Screenshots are moved to the “Recently Deleted” album in iOS Photos
  • You can recover deleted screenshots within 30 days from the Recently Deleted album
  • After 30 days, iOS permanently deletes them — this cannot be undone
  • ShotKeep is not responsible for screenshots that are permanently deleted after the 30-day recovery period

Classification Accuracy

ShotKeep uses automated text recognition and rule-based classification to identify potentially important screenshots. While we strive for accuracy:

  • Classification results are recommendations, not guarantees
  • Some important screenshots may not be detected as protected
  • Some low-risk screenshots may be incorrectly marked as protected
  • You should review screenshots before deleting them
  • We recommend using the “Quick Review” feature to verify before batch deletion

ShotKeep is not liable for any data loss resulting from screenshot deletion based on the app's recommendations.

Intellectual Property

ShotKeep, including its design, code, features, and content, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data. In summary: all processing is on-device, we collect no personal data, and nothing is uploaded.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ShotKeep is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy of screenshot classification
  • Completeness of OCR text recognition
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of ShotKeep shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, including permanently deleted screenshots
  • Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the app
  • Classification errors that result in important screenshots being marked for deletion

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or on our website.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
